    Hello,

When I want to import a preset that I saved before the pop-up menu does not tell in which directory it has been saved.

How to locate the preset (*.epr) or where are located the customed presets? As an example: when I want to import a preset a pop-up window as the following comes out:

    presets.png

But I do not know in which directory to look at...

    Thank you for any help.

    Jean-Paul

    >a preset that I saved before

Click to save another preset, and write down the save location path

Of course, that only works if you accepted the default when you saved before

If you changed the default to some other location, you will simply have to search your hard drive

    Hello John T Smith

Thank you so much for the answer.

    I got it!

I forgot to press the Alt key before clicking on .

So it was not possible to actually export a file of type *.epr

Sorry to have bothered you for nothing.

    Best regards,

    Jean-Paul

It is true that using alt-click gives you the option of saving to a directory of your choosing, BUT the directory that opens has nothing to do with where the default save directory is.

I think it is a type of "bug," that Encore is set up to save to a custom preset directory, but does not show that directory when you go to import the preset.

I have not changed the default directory, which, for Windows 7, is "C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Encore\6.0\Presets."

Thank you very much for your help.

Thanks to your note I have found out where my presets are saved.

The problem is that the search tool in Explorer does not work properly (or maybe I cannot master it). So I was not able to go to the proper directory.

    See you.
