Elements Organiser won't start

Apr 1, 2013 2:49 AM

My Windows 7 laptop recently shut down for no reason and since then, the only way I can access Elements Organiser is through the Picture Editor. If I try to use the desktop icon and select Organiser, I get the hour glass for a second or so and then back to desktop without the programme opening. Any ideas?

Please see Task Manager for PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe and stop this process. See if you are then able to launch Organizer from the desktop icon?

Is this icon shortcut to PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe or it launches the welcome screen from wherein you get to select either editor or organizer?

    Thanks

    Try creating a shorcut directly for the Organizer.Go to : C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Adobe\Elements <version no> Organizer

There you will find PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe file

Right click on it and select Create Shortcut. If it creates the shorcut there only, cut it and paste on the desktop. This will launch Organizer directly.
