Upgrade from cs3 to cs6

for time beeing i am still using my adobe CS3 design standard recently i had bought a upgrade package from CS6 design standard, my concern is after i install it did my CS3 Design Standard licence still works???

Yes, it can still work, assuming it works now.  You do not have to uninstall CS3.  I have both installed on my machine and they both work without a problem...
