Volume files not supported

I am using a Sony Handy Cam HDR-CX560. Whenever I import fottage I get a message saying the volume files are not supported. When I open the clips individually they work just fine in QuickTime.

Why won't the audio show up in Premiere CS6?

That appears to be an AVCHD camera.

First, copy the entire PRIVATE folder from the SD card to your hard drive using Windows Explorer or Finder.  Do not delete, rename or otherwise alter the contents of that PRIVATE folder.  Next, use the Media Browser function in PP to navigate to that PRIVATE folder.  Dig down a level or two until the clips show up.  Import from there.
