Is it possible to backup installed plugins? Having to reinstall CS6 w/ cleanup

Apr 2, 2013 2:20 AM

I am having to use the cleanup utility found here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

...and it says to backup your data and plugins, BUT how do I do that?... I have quite a few plugins and they take a long time to install...

Thanks all!

I think the easiest way is to use Beyond Compare and copy all the files in your plug-in directories to new locations. Then after cleaning and reinstalling CS, use Beyond Compare to copy all your plugins from the new locations back into the Adobe plug-in directories.
