Question on the Plug-in Resource Guide

Apr 2, 2013 3:20 AM

Hi everyone,

I was going through the Plug-in Resource Guide.pdf found in the documentation of Photoshop CS6 SDK. I was interested in designing cross-application plug-ins for Illustrator and Photoshop. Reading through, when I reached "Adobe Illustrator SDK information and samples" header, I found that the file "Basic PiPL.rsrc" in the "PiPL example" folder simply does not exist as it should as specified in the sample code folder of Adobe Illustrator SDK. Also, under the Sample PiPLs sub-header, the folder mentioned "shell w/ PiPL resource" too didn't exist.

How can I find a sample explaining all that is needed to know to design a cross application plug-in (eg., for Illustrator and Photoshop)?

Please point me in the right direction.

Thanks!
