The font size is rediculouly small like 1 or 2 px on the file and edit menu. All other programs on my computer have not this problem. I have tred every thing and have wack out the sizes of things on my computrt enouth
The same is true in CS6. That said, DW works best with normal text size. If you can't read comfortably with your current display settings, step back. For example, if your display supports a max-width of 1900, try stepping back to 1600 or less.
Or, use your operating system's magnification features.
Nancy, thanks for responding. However this should not be an OS problem to correct. Yes I had already change to 1600 and it made everything else on my computer look bad. After haft a day of adjustments I got things where I can manage. Even at that it is still hard to read the file and edit menu. This is not ok. Adobe needs to make a patch to fix the problem or give everybody money for the eye doctor. Software programs like DW is supposed to make the job easier. I think they have lost touch of that kind of thing. Do you agree?
I'm not having that problem. I find the menu text & icons in DW, Acrobat, Photoshop & InDesign to be about the same. I'm wondering if there's a deeper problem on with your machine: Corrupted fonts? Clear Type enabled? Video card failure?
No just adobe Dw which is on new equiptment including two wide 23-in monitors. Two window machines (vista and 7) and a Mac. I am sorry to sound like a big complaner. But I am not the only one If you google you will see there are a lot of people with the same problem and no sulations other than step back the screen size. In my development of web apps I use more than DW. lowering the screen resolution kind of messes up things with making images and now adays screen resolutions are getting higher than 1900. working with 1600 is old hat. As I said before it is not the OS it is a design faw.
Nancy you are very nice to reply and thank you for reaching out to me.
