I currently have Premier Pro CS5.5, soon to download CS6. I am also upgrading my GPU from GTX 470 to GTX 660. I didnt see GTX 660 as an "approved" card for Premiers Pro CS6.
I use PC
16GB DD3 memory
should I have a ny concerns?
Thanks. That's kinda what i wanted to hear. I'd like to improve my mercury playback performance. I ifigured a newer more powerfull GPU would do the trick.
I was originally going to go with the GTX 570 or 580, but I see the GTX 660 is less expensive and uses a bit less power.
If the improvement in performance is negligable, then i'll pass (and get the extra hard drive iwanted to get )
That is often the wiser approach. An extra disk is used all the time, the video card only when using hardware accelerated effects.
Look here Video Card Performance and scroll down to the chart about video cards.
