Text is really pixelated?

Hi

I have a CS5 PhotoShop document, and it is 150px by 150px. The problem is that any text i put on it is slightly pixelated. I have tried anti-aliasing but its not working.I am planning to put the image on a website but the text on the image is clearly more pixelated than text on the page even when it is saved in the highest quality jpeg.

Anyone know what may cause this?

Thanks

    What font do you use?

    Can you upload a screenshot?

150 pixels isn't very big.  How are you looking at it?  At 100% zoom?  Or greater?

Have you tried the anti-aliasing options in the options bar when entering the text?

Are you displaying it at 100% original size on the web?

It might be easier to judge what's wrong if you'd put a copy of the image up for all to see here.  You can do that with the little "camera" icon on the web forum interface, just above the edit box where you type.

    Example:

There is no anti-aliasing on the text. But your screen shot has Layer 2 targeted, not a text layer.

Can you target a Text Layer, and open the Character Panel and post another screen shot?

To expand on what Charles has said, you need to set the AA option on the text layers.
