photomerge

Apr 22, 2013 12:09 PM

I have to photograph a huge wall with retangle objects mounted on it. The sizes and shapes of the objects vary. I need to create a very large image.

I will need to use photomerge. Am I better off shooting it in sections from one center perspective or shooting straight into each section and using photomerge.

Thanks.

Jonathan

Can't say I've done a study or comparitive testing, but from what I know of Photomerge I'd suggest getting a bunch of overlapping straight on shots and try to stitch them.  Frankly, I'd shoot it every which way you can think of so you'll have the data later to use whatever way turns out to be the best.
