The computer I use runs WINDOWS XP, Service Pack 2.
I downloaded ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS executive file on 4/23/2013. It will not install on my computer. I could not open the file or run it.
ADOBE technical specs. says that the current ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS needs WINDOWS XP, Service Pack 3. Is there a different ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS for a computer with WINDOWS XP, Service Pack 2?
Answer in simple language. My computer knowledge is limited

What you see is what you get. Only recent versions of Adobe applications are sold and to purchase one that works with SP2 would require going backwards in time.

Why not update to Service Pack 3? It's free and available from Microsoft.

There is an ADE verion 1.7.2. Not only does it work better on XP, there are lots of other bugs they introduced with v2.0 that are not present on V1.7.2.
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.
