Not a clue.
I have no idea what you mean by "broken circle" and no clue as to what platform you're on, Macintosh or Windows, exact version of the OS, Bridge, ACR and Photoshop, what type of machine, RAM, etc.
Please read this FAQ for advice on how to ask your questions correctly for quicker and better answers:
OK, it just dawned on me that your "broken circle" references the symbol representing the shutter blades of a camera lens. If that's what grayed out, it means that you do not have a valid image file or files selected in Bridge.
You cannot launch Camera Raw by itself, you must have at least one valid image file selected that you want to open in Camera Raw, or a valid JPEG or TIFF if you have set your Camera Raw preferences to process JPEGs and TIFFs.
Thank you the first responder. I was not selecting the image and thus the greyed out shutter blades ( is that what they are.) I now can make it work.
All: please accept my apologies for being so brusk. I only meant to be concise and had spent the previous 40 minutes on the phone to India, or some such place, with no answer to my question when i was cut off. Next time I'll come directly here and follow you procedures. Thanks again.
