How do I lock my screen behind my image so that it stays the same size?

Apr 25, 2013 3:06 PM

Hi,

I'm used to a PC, but am having to use a mac once a week for a new job. One issue in Photoshop is driving me CRAZY! Can anyone help?

When I hit "Cmd -0" to view my image in its entirety, my background screen shrinks with it. Then, when I zoom in again, I have to expand the screen again.

I'd like to have my background to stay locked in the same position where I have placed it, with only my image file expanding or shrinking, as I work. Hope this make sense. Any idea how to to this?

Thanks!

Try activating the Application Frame (under the Window menu) and use tabbed image windows (in the Interface Preferences). These will lock the frame to the size of the available application space.
