Scaling patterns in photoshop sucks.

I tried submitting this as a bug report, but couldn't find a way to do so (the bug report form tells me to post on photoshop.com, but you can't sign up for photoshop.com anymore as it's being replaced by revel), so I'm posting here.

Scaling on a pattern layer sucks.

When you scale a layer up or down (anything other than 100%), the end result is blurry and ugly as all hell. Here's an example: http://files.jjcm.org/photoshopBug/

Ideally I would love to be able to choose the scaling algorithm used. In this case, the raster layer was scaled down with a bicubic algorithm, which worked fine for it.

It's like a 25% version of the pattern is scaled up by 164% to attain an overall 41%. Ugly, indeed.
