Check the dimension when clipping masked

Hi friends,

How do i check the final dimension of image or vector graphics when it is clipping masked in illustrator. If I check in transform it is showing the size including the clipping mask.. I just want to check final trim size of the image.. advance thanks for the help..

    Use the group select tool to select just the mask. Then read the dimensions.

    Using the commands in the Select menu you can also select all clipping masks. Their bounding box then should have the dimension you are looking for.

    Which version of Illustrator are you using ?

    I dont find the commands to select all clipping masks in select menu..

    Select>Object>Clipping Masks

     

    However, that will not necessarily cause the Transform palette's Height / Width fields to show you the dimensions you want if--as it sounds from your description--you have nested Clipping Paths.
