Installing CF10, in Configuration and Settings Migration Wizard, in browserhttp://127.0.0.1/CFIDE/administrator/enter.cfm,

ColdFusion has been successfully installed. This wizard will guide you through the remaining server configuration steps and, if applicable, migrate settings from a previous version of ColdFusion.

To guarantee the security of your server, please enter your ColdFusion Administrator password.

- getting error: Invalid Password. It won't take the password I provided in previous "Set Admin password" screen. Help?

    Hi Oleg,

Can you try this in a different browser instead of IE, if that doesn't help then try below steps.

Can you please go to the ColdFusion 10 installed directory

    ColdFusion_root\cfsuion\bin

There is a batch file name "passwordreset.bat" just double click on it, that will launch a command prompt select the option 1 and then type your new password.

try again and let me know if that doesn't help.

    Regards,

    Priyank

    Hi Mike,

Can you please check IIS Manager, under your site, if there is a virtual directory named jakarta, if not then please add the virtual directory name jakarta in your site and point it to the connector folder "C:\ColdFusion10\config\wsconfig\1".

Though when you create the connector, it will add the virtual directory by itself however it you removed it then you have to add the jarkata.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Priyank
