A printer profile working perfectely in CS5 does even not appear in CS6. How do I fix this? (Windows 7 64 bit for CS5 and CS6)

Thanks

Usually it means that the profile was the wrong color mode (like a CMYK profile for an RGB printer), or not a printer profile - and CS6 won't display profiles that don't match the printer.

You'll need a new, correctly created printer profile.

Read post #1 by Chris Cox again:

He's telling you that CS6 has incorporated safeguards to avoid displaying any profiles that don't match the printer, whereas CS5 has no such safeguards and will display a profile even if it doesn't match the printer.

Well, it is also possible that your profile is corrupt, and CS5 didn't catch the error but CS6 does (like with some profiles with bad CXF tags).

We have yet to find such a problem with Photoshop.

But we have seen lots of user mistakes, and plenty of bad profiles (which older versions of Photoshop might have tried to use).

I really do not understand that a software decides about my files to be corrupt while the same profile works perfectly with other software…
