I have a client that would like to include a light pink metallic pantone colour in a design. They want a metallic colour similar to an existing light pink solid coated pantone colour already in the design (img lighter colour in mane) but when I look at the pantone metallic colour books the colours seem dark (img darker colour in mane) and there does not seem to be a metallic match for the light pink colour.
I am new to working with Pantone colours so any help i sgreatly appreciated!
The colors we have for the Pantone metallic inks are the measurements straight from Pantone.
But we only have solid colors - we can't simulate the actual metallic appearance, only the average color of the ink on paper.
I understand we can't simulate the actualy metallic colour I'm just wondering why there isn't an option that looks closer to a light pink. All the colours in the colour book just seem so dark....
As far as I can see, there is nothing in the metallic book that even is close to your pink. If the client really, really wants a metallic, contact Pantone to mix a special ink. It will cost two arms and a leg most likely.
