Several months go I installed Photoshop Element 11/ Premier Elements. Both worked fine. Now in Elements I cannot access the Quick or Guided Editing space whereas before I could. Can only access the Expert Space now. Did not fool with any of the settings. How come?

The problem you are facing is probably because of corrupted swf files in your machine. But before advising for reinstallation, can you please share your Operating system information and also if you can see the following folders and files in your machine:
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\11.0\Locale\en_us\Workflow Panels\GuidedEdit.swf
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\11.0\Locale\en_us\Workflow Panels\QuickEdit
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\11.0\Locale\en_us\Workflow Panels\QuickEdit\QuickEditAir.swf
/Application Support/Adobe/Photoshop Elements/11.0/Locale/en_us/Workflow Panels/GuidedEdit.swf
/Application Support/Adobe/Photoshop Elements/11.0/Locale/en_us/Workflow Panels/QuickEdit
/Application Support/Adobe/Photoshop Elements/11.0/Locale/en_us/Workflow Panels/QuickEdit/QuickEditAir.swf
Thanks for your response and trying to help. It turned out to be much more complicated. Apparently, a preference file was corrupted. I finally got some help from Adobe. They guided me through a process whereby I had to rename a preference file on my computer in the Adobe/ Photoshop Elements folder so the program could launch with default settings. How it ever got to this point is beyond me.
Thanks for your input. You were exactly right. I finally got the help I needed.
On my computer I had to open the Adobe then the Photoshop Elements folder. There I located the 11.0 folder and renamed it 11.0_OLD folder. This renamed the preference folder which was corrupted so that the program could launch with default settings.
How it actually got to this point is beyond me. I am not very computer or tech savvy.
Thanks again for your help.
