Putting A Facecam In The Same Spot Every Time

May 1, 2013 10:54 AM

Hello!

I'm the kind of person who LOVES doing gaming commentaries! I record some footage, I have a nice mic so I can commentate, and I record my face.

So.

I know how to add my facecam to my videos. BUT, is there a way I can know where to put it each time so it's in the same spot as before?

You could create a face template in the Titler and put a period or a circle where each eye is. Then place it on V2 and use it to register each face shot correctly/

I would create a 'template' Sequence

with a Nested Sequence insert for the headshot:

    _Template.PNG

Then you can duplicate the template and headshot sequences,

replace the tracks, and the positioning as defined by Motion Effect

in the template sequence will always be the same.
