Bridge cs5 as a Sharing device at work

May 2, 2013 7:14 AM

The business for which I work purchased Adobe Bridge cs5 a while ago as we have to stock, archive and tag people in quite a lot of pictures. That being said that software is great .We are just wondering if there is a way to use it as a “sharing device”.  The few of us that have to use Bridge would like to all have access to same files from our own computers, and to be able to, for example, tag people from one computer, and make sure the changes would be seen by the other users automatically, like a shared folder. Is that possible and if so, how can we do that?

It is possible, but it takes some work and it may be more cumbersome than you want.  The downside is that Bridge is not well suited for a network or as a digital asset manager.  Have to leave, but try web search for Bridge with Network so some such thing.
