Confused About Lightroom

May 2, 2013 9:21 PM

I need an adobe product that will digitally remove certain items in an urban landscape, such as: removing telephone polls and wiring, stop signs, etc., but still retain the colorization and detail of the overall image. Can Adobe Photoshop Lightroom do this?  I received a response that claimed a new Lightroom beta version can remove telephone wires.  Assuming that's true, can it remove telephone polls and stop signs?  CS6 clearly has this capability in it's description.  I find no such description when reading the functions of Lightroom.  Can you help?

Download LR5 Beta and see for yourself if the new tool is adequate.

Sounds like you need a tool that was designed for this task. Thus, CS6 would be my recommendation.

Yes, LR5beta has a new tool which can do this (maybe, in the right situation), but when I have tried, it doesn't come anywhere close to the capability that exists in CS6, or even PSE. I was not satisfied with the quality of removing wires in LR5 Beta.
