Edge .oam file in a scrollable frame

May 3, 2013 9:14 AM

Is it possible to put an .oam file in a scrollable frame?

I am having no luck.

Even tried grouping it with other graphics, but no go.

Any ideas, or is this just not supported?

Dave

I'm not having any luck with this either. "Scrollable Frame" overlay option is grayed out after pasting content into container.

well I just tested one and it works, like Bob says whats the problem you are seeing?

Did you remember to check autoplay on the oam before putting it into the scrollable frame

Yes, autoplay was selected and the animation plays as it should when viewed in the content viewer. However, the content will not scroll.

I am creating the scrollable content in a separate InDesign file. This content includes the .oam file. I then copy that content and paste it into the frame I would like to be my scrollable frame. When I do that, the scrollable frame option in the overlays panel is grayed out. If I remove the .oam from the content, scrollable frames overlay is not grayed out.

I'm getting the same problem, was this ever resolved??

Creating a scrollable frame works for for me with any content except an .oam file, when this is pasted into the frame, the option to turn it into a scrollable frame is greyed out.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

Try creating a scrollable frame with other content. Delete the content so

all you have is an empty frame. The scrollable content settings should still

be there. Now, paste your OAM file into the frame and adjust accordingly.
