Keeping Link after stop

May 3, 2013 10:05 AM

This is probably a no-brainer, but I'm a newbie with Flash: I've created a simple animation that scrolls through 7 panels and then stops after 30 seconds on the last one.  This panel has a button linking to the appropriate URL.  Unfortuntely the button becomes inactive after the last animation 'stops'.  I'm sure there must be an easy solution to this.  Thanks for any help/guidance.

put the button on its own layer and make sure that layer has no keyframes after the one that contains your button.

if you use scenes, you'll need to encode your button listener in each scene.
