My brand new mac computer at work that is used for design purposes has been running incredibly slow for the past few days. The beach ball is coming up more often for 1-2 minutes. Within the adobe programs it is even slower. For example though, even when I am running spotify it is skipping parts of the song even though the internet is connected fine. PLEASE HELPPP!!!
Can you provide more detail. What is your system (which mac, what processor, how much memory)? What is your disk space capacity, and how full is the disk (available space?) All of these things can affect performance even on a new machine, and the details are good to know when troubleshooting from no other clues.
Go to the apple menu > about this mac. The resulting screen gives you basic info about your system, and you can click "more info" for greater detail. The Creative Suite does take up quite a bit of resources, even on new machines, but if Spotify is also choppy, you might have a problem completely unrelated to Adobe software.

We also are uninstalling and reinstalling the Adobe programs. I will let you know if this was the problem.
Thanks so much!
