Hi shaka.serrant

Two Ways :

Reduce file size by saving

You can sometimes reduce the file size of a PDF simply by using the Save As Other command. Reducing the size of PDFs improves their performance—particularly when they’re being opened on the web—without altering their appearance.

The Reduce File Size command resamples and recompresses images, removes embedded Base-14 fonts, and subset-embeds fonts that were left embedded. It also compresses document structure and cleans up elements such as invalid bookmarks. If the file size is already as small as possible, this command has no effect.

Note: Reducing the file size of a digitally signed document removes the signature.

  1. Open a single PDF, or select one or more PDFs in a PDF Portfolio.
  2. Choose File > Save As Other > Reduced Size PDF.
  3. Select the version compatibility that you need.If you’re certain that all your users use Acrobat XI or Adobe Reader XI, limiting compatibility to the latest version can further reduce file size.Note: In Acrobat Pro, if you select Acrobat 4.0 And Later, and the document contains transparency, the transparency is flattened.Note: In Acrobat Standard, if you select Acrobat 4.0 And Later, and the document contains transparency, the conversion will fail.
  4. (Optional) To apply the same settings to multiple files, click Apply To Multiple, and add the files. Click OK, then in theOutput Options dialog box, specify your folder and filename preferences.

Reducing PDF file is a frequent question i've come across. Now I have some technique to reduce it.

First, if you're working with Indesign file and trying to export pdf then it will be much easier to reduce pdf file.

1. Working with Indesign to export PDF

a. Goto file and choose Export option or press Ctrl+E and choose Adobe PDF (Print). In the Export Adobe PDF dialogue box goto Compression - Color Images-Bicubic Downsampling-Pixels of your choice-Image quality(Maximum, High, Medium, Low, Minimum) and For Grayscale Images do the same. After all the setup click on export button.

b. Goto to file and click on Print (Ctrl+P) and choose the printer as Adobe PDF

c. If the above two option is not working fine - Create a duplicate master pages of A. Now you've Master Page call A and B. Now delete right side of master page A and delete left side of master page B. Applied master page B on it after that unchecked the facing pages. And goto file and click on Export-Adobe PDF (Interative)-Compression-Image compression-JPEG Quality (Max, High, Medium, Low, Minimum)-Resolution(300 and below)-and click on export button.

d. Goto file and Export to EPS file after that combine all the Eps file in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

N.B.: Adobe PDF (interactive) will help you a lot to export pdf file in a low size and a better quality).

2. Working with Acrobat Pro (there's a few option and technique to reduce Pdf file in Acrobat Pro upto you satisfation but you can these)

a. Goto Redue File size and keep retain existing

b. Goto Advance Optimization (Optimize PDF) and do all the option in Images.

c. Press Ctrl+P (Print) and choose the printer as Adobe Pdf and setup in Page sizing & Handling and print.

3. Working with PDF + Indesign
