I'm trying to print out full page InDesign CS5 proofs for a client using an Epson WF-7520 printer. For some reason the Epson printer is screwing up all of my whites with a fine screen of gray. When I select the Print > Color Management from with InDesign, I don't see any CMYK printer profiles under either the Document or Proof options.
What settings can I use to get the best results?
That's what is giving you the background noise in your whites. Whether this is more accurate in terms of representing the color of the paper stock on which you plan to print the final output is something I can't tell you, but unless the your paper is very gray or yellow I suspect most people will find it easier to work without it.
