Where can I find the CAPS LOCK functionality to disable the shortcut

May 15, 2013 8:08 AM

Currently when you press the caps lock button while you use a brush you get a circle marking the boundry, I would like it to always be like this without pressing the CAPS LOCK. how can alter this behaviour?

Many

Thanks

Matt

    Look in Preferences - Cursors.

Make sure to close/quit Photoshop after making the change, to ensure your preference setting is stored on disk.

You're saying it doesn't come up set the way you like it?

Funny...  I've never had a problem with that.  In my case Photoshop has always come up for me with the brush-size cursor.

I think the OP is saying hitting the caps lock turns off the brush cursor - and it does regardless of what app your in @ the time. It's a 'keyboard thing' and I don't think there's a way around that...

I guess I just normally have the Caps Lock functionality off most of the time naturally, but I can see that if one's workflow led them to leaving it on sometimes it would end up needing changing when they got back in Photoshop.  But is that different than pretty much any other app where text would be typed?
