Local .swf's opening in Flash Player 10

I have Flash Player 11 installed, but all of my swf's saved on my computer open in Flash Player 10. How do I get them to use the latest version?

The standard Flash Player download consists only of the browser add-ons.  If you need the standalone player (Projector) you need to download it separately from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html and replace your current version 10.
