Remove CRM Duplicates

Hi,

Any advice on the best way to remove duplicate entries for the CRM database. We have a few thousand members - however some of them are duplicates in the back end.

So customers have used different emails to place orders and a new record has been created for them. Is there a way to join two records together?

Hi,

There isn't a way to do this currently, except from manually. We have submited a feature request to product management, in regards to the posibility being able to import a secondary e-mail address to a current contact.

Hi Alex, We have a similiar issue.

Is it possible to export all customers then fix up in excel then just reimport? (e.g like product export & import).

All the info I've found talks about reports then rearranging etc then importing but that's so risky I'd hate to get people muddled up.

Any progress on creating a feature for dealing with CRM duplicates?

Seems like a big deal for the CRM to be used in any sort of robust way. People change email addresses all the time so would be great to have a tool to easily review and mange duplicates rather than needed to do an export/clean up/import manually.
