I just hired someone overseas to do some Premiere and AE effewct to a video around 72 minutes long.
It was a huge project
He did an amazing Job...but doesnt want to do it again as he said it was hard on his machine
My machine would do it just fine
Sooo...i am wondering if i was to send him a .mp4 version or even the .m2ts files again
and he put all the effects in.....is there a way to send me just the effects he put in?
If i could just import that i could apply it to my timeline .m2ts footage and render it here
on my computer.
Or if there is and easier way if i am making it harder than it needs to be
If I understand what you want, then yes, you are making it harder than it needs to be.
If he kept the names of the files the same as the ones you used, he could just send you the pproj file and aep file. They are small enough to email - usually - so then when you open them you would have to find the original files, but that doesn't seem too difficult. Just open the comp and render. Then open the Premiere Pro project file and render anything that needs it. Simple enough.
OK i get it....Thanks :-)
Sometimes when editing all day for the last week or so
the brain doesn't work like it should...LOL
So really its just like opening a project after i have moved the files.
I just have to identify the files.
And even if he changed the name...as long as i know which file goes where...i am good right.
