problem downloading photoshop premier

i have tried to download and install the software at least 4 times.

I uninstalled all previous copies of photoshop.

it take me through about 90% of the installation process and then says that there is a problem with my computer.

i am running windows 8

Malki and D Ashby,

One step that usually helps is to navigate to the shared technologies folder ElementsST1Installer (ST1 means Shared technologies 1) in the installation disc.

If you have downloaded the software, you will find this in the extracted installation folder.

Run the set up file in the Shared Technologies folder first and then reinstall the software.

Hope this helps.

Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Premiere Elements?

Are you running 64 bit hardware and operating system?

hi

i ran it again and this is what it said:

in a pop up dialogue box the top of it says: adobe photoshop elements 11

setup

then on the the inside:

a yellow triangle with an exclamation point inside

and next to it: the installation process has encountered an error while

installing Shared Technologies. Please restart your system and try again.

when i click ok... i get to a pop up which was installing but now the

status says...

rolling back the installation of adobe photoshop elements 11..

lastly...

when it completed i got a pop up box that said: the wizard was intereupted

before .....

below mentioned application has failed to install:

Shared Technology

click button for troubleshooting

when i click the button it brings me to the troubleshooting page.

i am not savvy enough with computers to understand the errors and how to

fix it.
