dropping from pro to single user licence

May 22, 2013 8:58 AM

Can anyone give me advice on how I should go about the transition from a pro account to just a CC membership single edition account.

I have many single edition apps live in the app store, all created with the pro licence, so how will I manage them/continue to support these single edition folio's with the CC single edition licence?

Cheers

Alistair

    Stop paying the bill.

The Single Edition apps on the app store have no connection whatsoever

    to Adobe anymore.

Well, you shouldn't stop paying the bill, since we'll keep sending it You just need to cancel your pro account. The Single Edition applications, as Bob says, have no connection to Adobe once they're published.

That actually likely won't work. You'd need to re-build your application in App Builder using the original assets.

You should be able to re-use all your existing stuff to make a new app, including the app IDs you have with Apple. I'm just not sure that App Builder will know to rebuild your existing apps when you change account type. It may prompt for a serial number or something.

    Hi Neil

Found some info online, so it looks like app builder only requires the log in that I use to log in to CC, so as I've been a member for nearly a year, hopefully I should be ok!
