Spry menu formatting

May 25, 2013 11:17 AM

I have created a spry menu for my site, but when I edit it, the results don't appear when I upload it. They do however show in preview.

Can someone help me with this, is there a step I'm missing?

Thank you,

Donna

    Answers are in your code. If Spry Menu was working before, validate your HTML code below.

    http://validator.w3.org/

    If that doesn't resolve the issue, please give us the URL to your problem page.

    Edit your Spry Menu CSS file as noted below and upload it to your server.

    /* Menu items that have a submenu have the class designation MenuBarItemSubmenu and are set to use a background image positioned on the far left (95%) and centered vertically (50%) */

    ul.MenuBarVertical a.MenuBarItemSubmenu

    {

        background-image: url(SpryMenuBarRight.gif);

        background-repeat: no-repeat;

        background-position: 95% 50%;

        font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;

        color: #000;  /**change this to orange**/

        font-size: 11px;

    }

    Delete the old Spry CSS file from your remote server.  Upload the new one.

    Perhaps you're working with the wrong file.

    writingportfolio.html is referencing a CSS file in Your Spry Assets folder at this location.

    http://www.donna-tillotson.com/SpryAssets/SpryMenuBarVertical.css

    It does not appear to have changed since yesterday.
