I have downloaded a trial version of Premiere CS6, and all installed fine, but when I try to open an old project with an HD sequence in it, or I try to create a new project, the HD codecs (as well as a heap of other presets) seem to be missing. Is this some kind of limitation imposed by the trial software? Unfortunately without these codecs the trial version is practically useless to me.
all the codecs of the full version are included with the trial according to this: http://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/kb/trial-version-limitations-premi ere-pro.html
if you have an older premiere version installed, that could be an issue and others have reported a problem with certain codecs that need to be licensed. they will not work until premiere is activated.
hello, for what it is worth:
i have ppro 5.03 and i just installed the cs6 production suite trial onto the same computer
however, told it to install into c:\program files\adobe\cs6
(i made the cs6 folder)
everything installed fine, i applied all the current updates
and started a project
the avchd progressive and interlaced presets were there....
