Stereo file from camera—is there a way to have it come onto tracks as dual mono?

Jun 14, 2013 4:20 AM

hi there-

I recently got a C100 and bringing the footage into Premiere has been straightforward but I'm wondering if there's a way for the audio tracks to arrive on the timeline as dual mono rather than the stereo pair they seem to automatically come in as. I'd like to avoid having to "breakout to mono" for every clip. Any help will be appreiciated!

Cheers

David

R-Click on the clip in the Project window, Modify > Audio Channels , then in the window that appears, Audio Channels tab, Preset: pull down menu, select mono (or whatever other options you want).

If you point at many different things in Premiere and R-Click, menus with options tend to appear. Have a click around.
