Hi,

I have an existing .swf movie and I aquired the .fla files to make edits. I found the image I want to swap out but I am not sure how to do it. I was planning on using Flash Pro to make the edit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Ashley

if you want to replace all instances of the image, right click it in the library>click properties>click import>navigate to the replacement image>click ok.

when you right click and click properties, you should be looking at a bitmap panel.  are you?  if so, check the buttons on the right (update, import, test).

then you're not right clicking a bitmap.

what do you mean by, image?

if you only want to change the bitmap in the one on-stage instance what you did is ok.  if you want to change them all, you should follow the same steps for that bitmap in your library panel (windows>library).

you need to publish a new swf using the updated fla to see the changes in your swf.
