Runtime error! R6025 - pure virtual function call

Jun 14, 2013 7:51 AM

Hi all.

One coworker of my company is having this problem with the Flash.

Everytime when he try to convert an objetct to a movie clip, the Flash crashes and the message above appears.

I've already reinstalled the Flash and I applied all the updates.

I've tried this solution too (http://www.ehow.com/how_5009906_fix-runtime-error-r.html), but no sucess.

Anybody have any other solution for this issue?

Regards.

create a new directory (on the os harddrive, not a network drive etc) and create a new fla that's saved into that new directory.  can the coworker create a movieclip without crashing flash?

    then try resetting preferences:  http://forums.adobe.com/message/4348882

if that fails, uninstall, run the cleaner (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html), restart the computer and then reinstall flash.

if that fails, the problem is some other program.

broken/damaged fonts are a common cause of flash problems but not usually a run-time error.  usually, they cause a failure of flash to open or cause flash to crash especially on macs.
