Just installed the trial of Adobe PDF XI Pro, and bought a licenese which I will recieve today.
The question is, what is up with Visio 2010 and the Adobe Ribbon bar tab?
I run the Visio 2010 64bits, and there is no ribbon from Adobe showing up.
My office version is the same 2010 and 64 bits, and there (Excel, Word) it does show up.
I use Visio a lot though, ...
I saw there have been issues before with the X version which has been patched for use with 64bits office.
Do i have to wait for a patch regarding Visio 2010 64bits or am I overlooking something, and is it already there?
The COM add-on I did check already, it did not show up there.
But that makes sense I see, *Note: Microsoft Publisher and Microsoft Visio are no longer supported in Acrobat XI
Which makes no sense, that’s a bit disappointing.
There are plenty programs for printing to PDF from which ever program, I use CutePDF printer, CutePDF Pro, Nuance PDF pro. The ability to have layer support in your PDF documents though, is something that only Adobe PDF can do. And that’s an interesting ability. Just making a PDF can be done with a dozen applications, same goes for editing. Layers support from CAD and Visio, that’s what one ones.
