I'm frantically trying to export a video for my business that's due tomorrow, and I can't get a good format exported. The AVI file is too small and blurry, so I really want to export as an MPEG2 file. Unfortunately, when it finishes exporting, there are instead two files in the folder: an MPEG file that has no video (just audio) and an XMP file, which I have no idea what it does.
How can I fix this? Even an AVI file would be fine if I could modify the dimensions, but that doesn't seem to be an option. I just want a good-quality file for the video I made.
I use Premiere Pro CS5, Windows 8.
>any idea why
Based on very little information (see below) I don't think there is any way someone can really tell why one thing worked and the other didn't
But, The tutorial list in message #3 http://forums.adobe.com/message/2276578 may help

Also, telling people what you are editing is good
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the programs below... A screen shot works well to SHOW people what you are doing
