I am Mixing Music on CS6 and then saving the file (tried most file types) I then drag it over to Itunes in which it will play? However the quality has been reduced and also it will sync to my ipod but will not play it just skips by the track

Please Help Me

To avoid quality loss the audio should only be saved as a .wav file at either 44.1kHz or 48kHz sample rates with a bit depth of at least 16 bits. Then if the audio has it's quality reduced when imported into iTunes it is something in iTunes settings that is destroying it.

What sample rate and bit depth is your Audition mixing session set to?

Hmmm....two threads of the same thing.  At least our answers are pretty similar!

FYI, I hate iTunes with a passion and try not to let it do any automatic processing, hence my suggestion to do the MP3 conversion in Audition rather than let iTunes play around with AAC.
