When I signed up for CC membership (single app) and paid for it, I was offered one version of Photoshop and one version only - CS6 Externded Edition. Where is the Photoshop CC I paid for? If they are the same thing, why is that not made clear in the purchase process? Why can't I just buy an upgrade to the current edition of Photoshop, pay my money, and save all this endless, time-consuming messing about? I just want to edit a photograph. Not happy.
It sounds like you have not downloaded CC yet.
Start the Adobe Application Manager that came with CS6. You will then see that Photoshop CC is available for download. You might also want to download Bridge, which is available separately.
If you have not downloaded anything, log on to your account at Adobe, click on My Adobe, go to My Orders, open your CC order and click Download.
Thankyou. I already did exactly that, twice. There was only one Photoshop available for download and it turns out to be CS6 Extended edition. That's why I wondered if CC must be just another name for CS6 only on the rental plan. But I'll try it again now. Thanks for your help!
