I did program data- adobe- photoshop elements...this is the kicker, there is no folder for my version, which is 9.0. It's just a blue folder that says "Photoshop elements 9." I click that, and I get "AMT, ASSETS, LEGAL, LOCALES, PLUGINS" etc...
Please help me...
Sounds like your looking at the program files
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 9.0
The folder you want is in
You need to enable show hidden files in your folder options to see the program data files
Ok, now I feel like an idiot. Thanks for the reply...after reading all the related posts, I assumed the folders would only be hidden if I couldn't find "program data."
How do I show the hidden folders using 8?
First you should enable showing the hidden files by going to the control panel:
1. press the Windows Logo Key+R and the type in control panel and press OK
2. Click on Appearance and Personalization
Then under Folder Options click on Show hidden files and folders
Then go back to
and dete the following two files
Then start or restart the pse 9 editor and wait for the data base to rebuild.
It can take awhile, so just let it run.
