Install Adobe Premiera Elements 4.0

Jun 19, 2013 4:24 AM

I have installed a new C-disk (SSD-disk) and now when I am about to install Adobe Premiere Elements 4 from the original CD, there are only two options; repair and unistall. What has happened? There is nothing to repair and nothing to uninstall. When I choose "repair", I am asked to insert disk 1 but the one and only disk is already inserted.

Hi, AlfonsMallgan. This forum is for Photoshop Elements and very few of us use Premiere Elements, which has its own forum. It's better to ask PRE questions there. I'll move this over there for you.

On what computer operating system, including 32 or 64 bit system, are you installing your Premiere Elements 4 from its installation disc?

Thanks for the follow up and good news that you have sorted out your issue.

Curiosity leads me to ask "If you were only getting the repair and install options when you were trying to install from the version 4 installation disc, does it follow that you already had Premiere Elements 4 installed on this computer?"

Glad you are moving forward in your Premiere Elements projects.
