Jun 19, 2013 9:27 PM

When I try to copy an object in illustrator which has gradient effect in it, gradient changes in the next copied object. Please, help how to overcome this issue.

Normally, gradients preserve their appearance when copy-pasted. It would help if you could post snapshot of the original gradient and (pasted) modified gradient.

    Cheers!

Are you sure, that they are not the same?

Might be simply an optical illusion.

Looking at the color value of the snapshot, I do not see any difference in the original and its 3 copies. Monika is right - repeated arrangement of gradients, at times do appear as if the colors have changes. But that is not the case in your design. It should print fine.

    Cheers!

    Mahmud,

The colours at the upper right corner seem to be the same RGB within 1 in the R value when eyedropped in Photoshop from a screenshot (67-66R/183G/232B).

You may compare the first and third image, covering the next image, and viewing at different angles.

Judging colours at transitions is always hard.

Obviously, the screen capture in RGB may be less accurate.

    The positive issue is strange.
