I was excited to try the new option for automatic sync of audio by waveforms when merging, synchronising or creating multicam sequences. I have watched a few tutorials and followed them exactly. The tutorials all show an extra option for merging, etc by audio in the relevant window (after selecting Merge, Sync, Multicam), that is absent from my version of PPro, despite applying the most recent update and rebooting my computer.
Does anyone have any idea how to make the Audio option appear in these functions?
A Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence from this tutorial is on the left, my version is on the right.
I'm rather bewildered by the lack of functions. Thanks for any help.
I'm a bit embarrassed that I missed that. I don't use all of the CC programs very often, so my list of "apps" with updates in the update manager was just the same length as my screen and I didn't notice that I could scroll down and see newly released programs. I had just assumed that my version of Premiere Pro (and others) would always update to the latest version.
I have just tried my first audio sync across three cameras plus a separate audio stream and it managed to sync everything but the separate audio, which is a big time saver. I am very pleased to have this feature (it's been a while coming, but very much appreciated now).
Thanks again for your help.
