I'm in a bit of a rush - so thanks for taking the time...
I have a gradient in CS6 which I have set from 0% white to 100% Spot Colour then back to 0% white as I want the gradient to be transparent at the edges.
For some reason the 0% is not displaying as transparent on the screen, even though in the Gradient editor it does show the trasparency is there.
In Photoshop Spot Colors have no transparency as they exist as Channels.
Could you please post a screenshot with the pertinent Panels visible?
If you want transparency fading the color to white additionally to the Opacity Stops may not be a good idea anyway.
Edit: Meaning that you may just want to have two Color Stops of the same color.
Hi there thanks for the quick response!
I probably am going around it the wrong way, and appreciate your guidance.
As a novice - I'm afraid I don't know which panels you wish to see, as I have already included the 'result' along with the gradient choices I have made.
The white Color Stops do not seem to make sense, please remove them.
But be aware you are not working with Spot Colors if you work with Layers.
I'm afraid I don't know which panels you wish to see
In this case Channels and Layers seem relevant.
