after CS4-CS6/CC upgrade PUT is intermittent

I recently upgraded from CS4 to CS6/CC.  I exported my sites from CS4 and imported them into the new version.  All works as it should except when it comes to transferring files from local to remote (and possibly vice versa, but I don't do that much).

I use a Local/Network connection and often times when I explicitly PUT a file, the application appears to execute as requested but when I check, the remote file is unchanged.  If I go back to the CS4 version it works as required - every time.

Has anyone else seen this?  Is there are fix?

Thank you for your kind consideration.

It may be worth checking your site definition, as Dw occasional does not set, (or forgets) the remote and local setting.

Also remember that your remote files may not update, if the server shows that the file on the remote server is newer. If this happens use the 'expanded ftp' screen, (the small icon on the r/h side of the files panel) to upload the files, as I have found that this often works better.

This has lately become the bane of my existence!

I had previously followed all the recomendations given at: g-files.html#main_anchor3

    But still, no go.

Using your suggestion of utilizing the "expanded ftp screen" I was able to upload a file.
May have to go back to MX4!

I was struggling with this same problem after upgrading CS 5.5 to CS6.  I tried so many suggestions!

The one that worked: USE PASSIVE FTP.

In Manage Sites -- Servers -- More Options.  Check the box.

Now it is working the way it always did before, in CS3, CS4, CS5, CS5.5.
