How do you set an action to save a pdf with unembedded fonts?

Jun 25, 2013 2:30 PM

I want to create an action that takes a selected file, and saves it as an optimized pdf. However, I want the file to not embed any fonts by default, and I cannot select any fonts to unembed while I'm creating the action. How do I set the fonts option so that it unembeds all fonts?

Thanks

Please open the PDF file in Acrobat, click Advanced and choose PDF Optimizer, click the Fonts check box  and select the fonts you want to remove from the Embedded fonts pane. Click Unembed and click OK.
