Win 7 64bit GTX 550TI

i have created a new Encore project and gone to File/Dynamic link/import Premiere Pro. In the dialog box, I selected the appropriate PP file and now I'm seeing a "connecting to dynamic link server" with a barbers shop pole graphic as a 'busy' sign. My problem is that it's been running for over 20 minutes now. The PP sequence is 2 hours long but I've done this before and it didn't take this long. Can anyone help ?

Regards,

I don't think it accesses detail of the sequences before you get the list on the right. So it does seem hung up.

As a test, I would try a different project.

I would try opening the PR project before accessing from Encore.

I had only one project with a similar issue, but it was after the sequence was selected rather than just selecting the PR project. It would hang at some percentage, unless PR had it open. The other 20 PR sequences in the Encore project had no problem. In any event, it's a workaround that helps sometimes.
